Mountain Mayhem Centre is a great choice for a break on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) and close to the Black Mountains, a playground for outdoor lovers. This purpose built modernised outdoor activity centre near Hay-on-Wye is ideal for corporate groups and equally for stag and hen parties. Or get together with friends for a weekend of fun activities to celebrate a big birthday or special occasion including weddings. Experiences on offer include clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, paintballing, canoeing and abseiling.

There are 3 different meeting rooms for management meetings, product launches, a seminar or a business conference and oodles of outside space for team building exercises and fun activities for stags and hens.

The centre caters for groups of adults with bunkhouse accommodation. There is also plenty of space for camping and yurts for additional guests. Please note that Mountain Mayhem does not cater for children. Mountain Mayhem offers catering options with a large kitchen producing meals for up to 100 guests. A full English breakfast using fresh, locally sourced ingredients is included. Packed lunches, barbecues and evening meals can be provided and the centre is fully licensed. All dietary needs can be catered for. There is a dining room where everyone can eat together and picnic benches for eating al fresco.

The bunkhouse is centrally heated, cosy and comfortable, and open all year round. It has modern washroom and shower facilities with plentiful hot water. Dorm style accommodation works well for a mixed group and the pods for anyone wanting their own space. Bedding is supplied but please bring towels.

The centre offers extensive grounds in which to relax, play football, cricket, rounders or just create your own fun. A fire pit and barbecue area is a central place to gather in the evenings and enjoy the company of your friends over a beer or glass of wine. Mountain Mayhem is close to Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye, both lively little towns. Brecon and Pen Y Fan are only 40 minutes from the centre.

The main dining area is in the main centre and can seat up to 100 people. There are plenty of tables and picnic benches for eating al fresco.

The bunkhouse is centrally heated. There is an outside fire pit to sit around.

Bedrooms

There are 3 bunk rooms: one can accommodate up to 16, another up to 14 and the third room up to 10. Also 2 pods.

Linen

All freshly laundered linen is included in the bunkhouse, all you need to bring is a towel.

Bathrooms

The bunkrooms have a modern washroom adjacent to them with toilets and hand basins. The main shower block has separate ladies/gents and is next door.

Outdoor

Numerous areas of well mowed grass available for sports and games. Barbecue and fire pit available in the evenings. Landscaped area for chilling out.

Parking

A large well-lit car park is available adjacent to activity centre and bunkhouse.

Smoking in certain outdoor areas.

Location

Situated a short distance from the Cats Back which is part of the Black Mountains, the location offers stunning scenery in totally unspoilt countryside on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Hay on Wye is 9 miles from the centre, the market town of Abergavenny is 13 miles and Hereford is approx 17 miles.
In the local village of Longtown and offers an extensive choice of local foods and crafts. It is also the local Post Office.
There are 3 pubs in the area which are all approx 3 miles from the centre.
The airports of Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff are all approx the same distance (60 miles).
There are train stations at Hereford and Abergavenny, transport can be arranged to and from the centre.
