At the crown of the City Campus, with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city, is the City Boardroom. Suitable for high level round-table meetings for up to 24 people, or more informal receptions and networking meetings. The building also provides a number of tiered theatres with varying capacities, a sprung floor dance studio and an abundance of classrooms.
With links to local accommodation, the venue is also ideal for residential conferences in Newport, South Wales. Just a short drive from the Severn Bridge, the venue is ideally located to service guests from all South Wales regions. Ample car parking is available adjacent to the centre (varying fees apply).
The Conference and Events hospitality is provided by highly experienced in-house catering team. From all day refreshment packages featuring home-made cakes, through to high-end Conference dinners for 300 guests, we can create carefully balanced packages that appeal to all. As well as supplying conferences and meetings with great tasting food on a daily basis, the in-house chefs cater for larger functions, weddings and events throughout the year.
The accommodation is only a short walk from the conference venue and it offers over 100 en-suite bedrooms in five and six bedroom apartments, each with a shared kitchen that is fully equipped for self-catering. Our on-site facilities offer a large social lounge with seating area, TV, PlayStation, pool and tennis table.
Easily accessible by train, Newport rail station a short distance from the venue. Direct coach services from Heathrow and Gatwick airports run into Newport, with Cardiff Airport located 45 minutes and Bristol Airport just a 50 minute drive away.
