Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Woodbank, Llanhennock, Monmouthshire, Wales, sleeps 10 - 18 in 7 bedrooms.

Take advantage of our on-site accommodation and “celebration stay” packages over 2 to 3 days for up to 18 close family and friends, including the Bride and Groom. The ideal way to have a mini break, build up to the special day and leave in a leisurely fashion the day after the night before!

The spiralled oak staircase flows into the Main Hall for that spectacular wedding entrance.

Civil ceremonies and partnerships at Woodbank can be held in the Main Hall which accommodates up to 75 guests. Wedding guests can also be received in the Main Hall for post ceremony and pre Wedding Breakfast and arrival drinks and canapes.

The Drawing Room with its classic Ionic style fireplace can host 75 day and 100 evening guests. Evening entertainment can be hosted in the Drawing Room or Main Hall depending on your requirements.

Woodbank allows guests and bridal party alike to spread out and mingle inside the house or outside on the substantial terraces and gardens prior to the main Wedding Breakfast festivities or whilst final photographs are being taken.

We have carefully selected, as our designated partners, caterers covering a range of tastes and who can provide tailor made menus to make your special day even more personal. A number of drink packages can be provided to suit your taste and also form part of the main Wedding Breakfast celebration.

Prices include the following:-
• Main Hall and Drawing Room for your day and evening functions
• Bridal suite with en suite bathroom for one night
• 75 day and 100 evening guests
• 5 x 6 foot and 2 x 5 foot round tables, 100 chiavari chairs
• Cake table
• Fully licensed bar (for pre-arranged events and weddings hosted by Woodbank staff only)
• Designated wedding coordinator
• Guest accommodation, one night for up to 18 guests depending on configuration

WiFi

Broadband WiFi available. There is generally a good mobile connection throughout the property.

Accessibility

Ground floor WC and access to lower ground floor bedroom with en suite as an alternative.

Dog Friendly

Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Kitchen

Facilities for 20, Aga, electric oven and hob, 2 tables (prep and dining), 2 fridge freezers, dishwasher, laundry room with extra fridge/freezer.

Dining Room

Large period dining room with double doors onto rear garden terrace seating up to 20 guests, with serving hatch from kitchen. 2 high chairs.

Sitting Room

Drawing: large room with seating up to 16 guests, space to spread out, chat, play games or watch TV. Snug: for up to 9 guests, also with TV.

TV and Music Facilities

TVs are in the snug, drawing and games room (50" and blueray/DVD). There is a surround sound system on the ground floor - MP3/iPhone compatible.

Games Room

The games room is a large area housing a full size snooker table, mini gym, 50" TV with surround sound and blueray/DVD player and a good atmosphere!

Heating and Open Fires

There are open fires but for safety reasons these are not operational. The house has underfloor heating with top up radiators.

Bedrooms

2 x family, 1 double, 2 sgles - or zip/link("z/l" superking), 1 double, 2 x 2 singles (or z/l), 1 twin, 4 sgles (2 x z/l), 6 en suite. 2 tvl cots.

Linen

All bed linen and towels are included except for infant cots.

Bathrooms

Family: en suite bath, 2 hand basins, shower. Double: shower/bath, handbasin. 3 twins: en suite bath and shower, 1 shower bath, all handbasins.

Children's Facilities

Blueray and DVD player, outside gardens and fields.

Outdoor

Large terrace surrounding the rear of the property with garden furniture to seat 20 people and one barbecue.

Parking

There is ample car parking available for up to 12 vehicles, minibuses can access the property but coaches can only access the top of the drive.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the property.

Booking Information

Minimum stay 2 nights, including midweeks. Reservation details will be emailed with a basic information pack once a reservation is made. Changeover: usually a Friday. Departures: 9.30am, arrivals 5pm, depending on number of days booked and guest departures. For short breaks please contact us for prices.

Location

Located within the Usk Valley in the village of Llanhennock. Caerleon 3 miles, Newport 6 miles. Cardiff 30 minutes, Bristol 40 minutes. Airports are 1 hour by car. M4/A449 12 minutes.

Caerleon, 3 miles, has basic amenities and restaurants and a national mini market.Newport, 6 miles, has main facilities and transport links - rail and coach.
Caerleon has a number of shops including mini markets and post office, 3 miles from Woodbank.
Caerleon has several restaurants and pubs: The Bell, the Priory, the Ship Inn, the Hanbury Arms and the Celtic Manor resort is only a further 2-3 miles (12 minutes from Woodbank).
Cardiff and Bristol airports are about 1 hour by car.
Newport railway station is 6 miles and 15 minutes away.
Newport: 6 miles away, served by National Express at Kingsway Newport, opposite Friars Walk shopping centre and main bus station. Other buses operate opposite/near the railway station.
