Number One The Terrace is located a moment’s walk from Windermere railway station and about 15 minutes from the M6, which makes bringing your team together from just about anywhere in the UK easy.
We regularly host regional sales meetings, corporate group think tanks and off-site breakaways. Number One offers a number of large reception rooms which can be used for meetings spaces.
Our manager can organise caterers to cook, wait and wash up for you, you can cook for yourselves or simply stroll into the village for dinner.
The famous Orrest Head short walk starts from just outside the house and is a brilliant way to get some air between discussions.
There’s also a 7 seat hot tub where the debates can carry on late into the night.

Sumptuous leather Chesterfields to seat up to 20 people. A large flat screen TV and living flame fire. This is a great place to kick back and relax.

TV and Music Facilities

Flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms, the lounge and kitchen. Bose Sound Dock 3 stereo system.

Shuffle-board in hallway area.

Heating and Open Fires

Open fire in the dining dining room. Living flame gas fire in the lounge. Gas fired central heating and pressurised hot water system.

Crisp white bed linen supplied and fluffy towels supplied for all guests.

No pool, however there is a 7 seat hot tub.

Parking for 5 cars Maximum.

We offer Monday and Friday changeovers only. 4 night weekend breaks, 4 night mid-week breaks and 7 night breaks available.
