The estate itself has 6000 acres to explore and lots of space for organised activities to present challenges to your group. This is a fantastic location for walking, cycling, climbing and kayaking too, giving endless opportunities for personal development, socialising and team building. The village hall, a shared event space, is available for hire as an indoor educational or activity space.
A youth group residential at Prosen Hostel is fun in the spring and summer, with a barbecue hut and firepit for bringing everyone together in the evening for sharing stories, playing games and singing songs round the fire, but equally so with a blanket of snow and the possibility of skiing at the Glenshee Ski Centre not far away. Living accommodation is warm and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen for everyone to muck in and cook a meal together. Sit down at the large table to eat together before relaxing in the lounge next to the cosy wood burner.
The dorm style rooms work well for children, all comfy bunks and plenty of hot shower facilities. The sleeps 4 room has single beds in it which are suitable for youth leaders and teachers. There is a wet room which works well for anyone less mobile.
