 Seaton Court - one dog - 2 double beds, one twin; two showers, one bath. Kitchen, dining and sitting room in Great Hall. Access to outdoor terrace and grounds
 Sir Francis Bigod's Cottage, formerly the early Tudor domestic service cottage - one dog - one twin, one double with en suite shower over bath  
 Seton Mote - no dogs - 2 twin beds, one double - each with bathroom, one grd floor double with shower, one ground floor double with shower over bath
 Lady de Seton's - no dogs - one twin, one double; one shared shower room (Jack & Jill doors). Grand vaulted sitting room and kitchen - south facing outdoor terrace at head of adjoining moat

All cottages have ample on site parking.

We operate an indoor and garden cafe and tea room Friday to Sunday 10 - 3pm, with garden and take away service Mon to Wed, and bistro open 6 - 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. Indoor and evening eating can be booked.

There is an antiques centre, grounds open to our residents, and indoor and garden sales market on site and away from the residential accommodation.

Staithes harbourside and cliff top walks are a 20 minute walk. Whitby is 9 miles and Saltburn 9.

Seaton Hall is a former Norman Hunting Lodge built around 1130 for the de Brus family. In 1139 it became the seat of the de Seaton family until 1306. Sir Christopher de Seaton married Lady Christian de Brus, sister of Robert the Bruce.

Ownership then passed to the family of de Mauley and by descent to Sir John Bigod who rebuilt the site in 1483. His son Sir Francis Bigod was born here in 1507, and led Bigod's rebellion against Henry the 8th and was a leader of the Pilgrimage of Grace. He was beheaded in 1537. His brother Ralph lived at Seaton until 1547.

- **TV and Music Facilities:** Grand piano, Bose sound system in great hall, flat screen TVs in sitting room kitchen and great hall, WiFi, basic Sky freeview package.

- **Heating and Open Fires:** Log burner in Sir Francs Bigod's and Lady de Seton's and modern central heating systems - fuel and logs included in cost.
- **Bedrooms:** Mix of double and twin rooms. All bedrooms have a bath or shower room. All cottages have a bedroom on ground floor. No one bedroom adjoins another.
- **Linen:** High quality cotton on comfortable modern mattresses included in price - mixed white and coloured with counterpanes - cots available.
- **Bathrooms:** Mix of baths with shower over, showers and baths. Every bedroom has its own bath or shower room.
- **Children's Facilities:** Games, music, (piano in Seaton Court) farm, walks, orchards, walk to the sea and old village.
- **Outdoor:** Large grounds and farm - woodlands, blue bell woods streams, wild life. Ancient history. Antiques Centre and tea room on site away from residents.
- **Parking:** Unlimited nearby - secure parking available too but not necessary - helicopter landing spots.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside.
