They measure young people’s perception of their communication, decision making, participation, self-belief, determination, and resilience at the end of their stay and share the outcomes achieved and insights gathered with schools to measure the impact of the experience on students’ personal development. One group leader shared with them how great it was to see their group increase communication and social skills through a range of water-based activities and through spending a week together.
UKSA are open all year apart from 2 weeks over the Christmas period.
