Group Accommodation Crickhowell
Tiny Crickhowell certainly punches above its size when it comes to gorgeous shops and places to eat. This little market town between Abergavenny and Brecon is filled to the brim when the Green Man festival is held nearby at Glanusk Park every August, but it is a great spot to visit at any time of the year. Nestling underneath the Table Mountain, an Iron Age hill fort, the Georgian streets bustle with a mix of locals and tourists. There’s a thriving art gallery and a wonderful bridge across the Usk, which has 13 arches on one side and 12 on the other – though we don’t quite know how that’s possible! And there are several festivals to tempt visitors as well, so whether it’s walking, art or literature that you enjoy, then you’ll find a corresponding festival to discover. Cycling, walking and fishing are all popular in the local area.
