Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Mal's Barn, Althorne, Essex, sleeps 5 - 10 in 5 bedrooms.

Mal's Barn was originally part of Althorne Hall Farm which is situated next to the Crouch Ridge Vineyard. This house has now been restored and converted into a contemporary house, accommodating 10 guests comfortably in 5 luxury en suite bedrooms. The perfect venue for a special weekend with family and friends.

This 2 storey converted barn now provides self catering holiday accommodation near Burnham-on-Crouch for 10 guests and has some unique features taking advantage of the special setting. The upstairs central seating area has a floor to ceiling glass picture window so you can really appreciate the stunning views across the River while you relax.

Downstairs there's a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with lots of full height glass doors opening out to a patio and grassy area with picnic benches right next to the Vineyard - the perfect place to enjoy dining outside and some of the wines produced at the Vineyard. The ground floor also has a utility room, separate toilet and cloakroom and 5th en suite bedroom (with twin beds) with glass doors leading outside to a paved path and private grassy area.

At Mal's Barn, the remaining 4 bedrooms are on the top floor affording amazing views over the Vineyard and River Crouch. Each has a king bed.

While staying at Mal's Barn why not enjoy the Vineyard and its produce too - we can offer group vineyard tours and wine tasting. A wine hamper containing 1 sparkling and 2 still wines is available to introduce you to our lovely wines. And we can also provide a breakfast hamper on request.

£500 deposit to secure the booking and a £200 damage fee which will be returned after your stay if nothing is broken or lost. The balance will need to be paid prior to arrival. Check in 2pm, or earlier if no other guests leaving. Check out 10am.
Wine hamper £80, breakfast hamper £10 per person.
