At the heart of England, the Peak District National Park has its origins in the movement for free access to the countryside. With attractions ranging from a vast array of trails and walking routes, cycle routes and rock climbing opportunities, to caving systems, evidence of steam railways and historic houses, the Peak District is an obvious choice for family holidays.
There’s a strong association with artisanal food here too, with the Bakewell tart as we know it having its origins as a Bakewell pudding in the market town of the same name. And there are also breweries where you can sample local craft beers. Something for everyone.
And there’s plenty of farmhouses and converted barns offering large group accommodation in the Peak District National Park – ideal for social get togethers, celebrations or for accessing outdoor activities to challenge your business team.
