Ideal for any type of break, be it mid week or weekend or any length of stay. We are in the country with beautiful views over the valley.

We welcome families, reunions, get togethers and celebrations, walking and cycling groups, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and walkers. Children and dogs welcome.

There are tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, full size cooker, sink, microwave and full size fridge in the barn. The barn is on 2 levels with the upstairs sleeping area now split into 2 separate areas.The ground floor is open plan with a large seating area and fully equipped kitchen area.

The Byre can sleep up to 4 people and has a kettle, microwave and toaster. Campers also have use of a kettle, microwave and toaster in the shower block.

We also allow the use of barbecues as long as they are kept up off the grass. We have some blocks to raise barbecues if required.

There is a good selection of public houses in the local area, Dudley Arms at Ingleby Greenhow, Pubs in Great Ayton and Great Broughton and Stokesley all within 5 miles.

Things to do in our area:

White water rafting at Tees Barrage, sailing at Scaling Dam, the beautiful coastal town of Whitby is only 30 minutes drive away. Lots of walking and cycle routes direct from the farm. The Esk valley train line runs from the village through to either Middlesbrough or Whitby and connects to the North York Moors steam railway at Grosmont for a nice ride down to Pickering on the steam train.

There is a sports centre at Stokesley and paintballing at Guisborough.

York and Scarborough are just over an hour away by car. Preston Park at Stockton is a large park with an old Victorian street and a Butterfly World on site.

Kitchen Details
The kitchen area in the barn has a full size cooker and fridge, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The Byre has a kettle, microwave and toaster.
Dining Room
The dining area of the barn is on the ground floor with plenty of tables and chairs.
Sitting Room
The sitting area is part of the open plan ground floor.
TV and Music Facilities
There is no TV.
Telecom Facilities
Depends on mobile network - some have poor reception.
Games Room
There is no games room.
Heating / Open Fires
Heating is electric by £1 coin meter.
The sleeping area in the barn is now split into 2 separate areas.
Sleeping bags can be hired, otherwise please bring your own.
The fully revamped toilets and showers are in a separate building. Showers are on a £1 meter.
Disabled Facilities
We do not have any specific disabled facilities but can accommodate disabled in the Byre which is level inside with ramps up into the toilet area.
Children's Facilities
We have plenty of space in the fields for children to play and the camping area is totally enclosed allowing children to play away from parking areas.
Outdoor Facilities
Field to play football in. Barbecues are permitted as long as raised off the grass.
Swimming Pool
Nearest swimming pool is at Stokesley, 6 miles away.
Plenty of parking space.
No smoking in any of the buildings.
Dogs on leads welcome.
