The old farmstead of Pentwyn is set on high ground looking down the Yscir Fechan Valley close to the village of Merthyr Cynog with the most beautiful panoramic views over rolling farmland to the Brecon Beacons. Pentwyn offers three dwellings which are approached through an oak woodland, on the edges of The Mynydd Eppynt.

The Barn (sleeping 7/8) has been renovated to a very high standard and offers a beautiful spacious property. The dining area is large enough to comfortably accommodate 15 people. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and chairs that are set around a wood burning stove. Double doors lead out to a terrace with garden furniture and the most extraordinary panoramic views over to the Brecon Beacons. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - double bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2 - two single beds. Bedroom 3 - family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. En-suite shower room with hand basin and toilet. A large family bathroom with a bath, handbasin, toilet and large double shower.

Pentwyn Farmhouse has an open plan ground floor with a superb fitted kitchen and dining table with chairs. The sitting area has comfy sofas and chairs and a large featured central fire-place with a "real-flame" stove and great ancient oak lintel. There is a TV with some Sky channels. There are 3 bedrooms, which include a double en-suite room, a twin and a double room.

Pentwyn Stable sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms. A spacious, warm and comfortable stone cottage, renovated with oak grown on the farm and worked by local craftsmen. A superbly crafted building.

The Farmstead is next to 32,000 acres of the Epynt, which is the Sennybridge Training Area. A bridleway and cycle path has recently been opened around its perimeter, which offers many previously unexplored opportunities to view this stunning area. Limited signal for mobiles.
