This beautiful Grade II listed Arts and Crafts Country House, set in five acres of gardens, was built in 1915 as a summer house for Lady Arabella Antonia Williamson of Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales. It has stunning views to Snowdonia and across the Irish Sea and is visible from many points across Anglesey.
The main house containing the principal rooms, together with the service/guest wing, are now available to rent as one self contained private house with access to the beautiful grounds. Tan Y Cytiau (literally translated as "Beneath the Ancient Houses") is located adjacent to this ancient site where early settlers from 500BC once lived. Remains of the Hut Circles still exist and following recent excavations the houses can be clearly identified and examples of stone furniture still remain.
