Youth Property Type:
Bunkhouse
Large Outdoor Centre for group activities in the Brecon Beacons National Park

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
Absolute Adventure, Powys, Brecon Beacons, sleeps 46 in 10 bedrooms.

In a stunning mountainous location, but also accessible with good transport links and local facilities, this accommodation is perfect for youth groups, school field trips and outdoor activities.

The property is surrounded by 8 acres of private ground. It dates back to the 18C and has some original features but has benefited from considerable investment and recent refurbishment. The main dining room is large enough to seat 50 (benches and tables that can be re-arranged as necessary) and there is an additional lounge, classroom and lobby areas.

There is also a self-contained apartment adjoining the centre that sleeps up to 4 people and has its own cooking and showers facilities, which is popular with instructors/leaders. There are 9 bedrooms within the main centre, that sleep between 2 and 6 people in a mix of single and bunk beds.

The property is run by AALA licensed provider of outdoor activities and we can organise a package of activities that are safe, challenging and exciting. We are also highly experienced at running team building courses.

Camping is also available on site and is popular with Duke of Edinburgh groups - many choosing to have the back up of the centres facilities or for staff to use the apartment.

Only half an hour from the M4 but within the Brecon Beacons National Park and Forest Fawr Geopark, in an area of world class caving. The National Showcaves of Wales, Dan-yr-Ogof are only a few minutes away. There is also access to river Tawe for kayakers. The highest waterfall in the Brecon Beacons, which you can also walk behind, is close by as is the waterfall are of Ystradfellte. There is a riding stable and trekking centre right by the outdoor centre. Craig-Y-Nos Country Park and Castle in walking distance. Good rivers and obvious geological features for studies.

Beautiful location and views, with access to the hills from the centre.
