This National Trust bunkhouse has three dormitories, a twin room and a well equipped kitchen, suitable for groups.
Located on the edge of the National Trust's Dudmaston Estate, guests at Big Mose have easy access to enchanting woodlands, gardens, tranquil pools and plenty of walking and cycling trails. The estate itself is a haven for wildlife and bird-watching, including great crested grebes, greylag geese, red kite, woodpeckers, otters, water voles and dragonfly.
The bustling market town of Bridgnorth is just 5 miles up the Severn Valley. The town is divided by The Severn – high town and low town. It boasts a castle, caves, a Cliff Railway and the famous Severn Valley Railway running regular passenger steam trains along a beautiful 16 mile stretch of river.
There’s canoeing, pony trekking, river rafting and quad biking for the more active adventurers. And a trip to one of the 10 award winning, world heritage site, Ironbridge Gorge Museums is a must for anyone interested in the industrial revolution and Victorian way of life.

The approach to the bunkhouse is via a rough track and the stairs in the bunkhouse are steep.
