Perfect for extended family gatherings combining the cottage and the bunkhouse, Glenlivet House Cottage and The Stag Shed are in a stunning location with far reaching views to Ben Rinnes and other surrounding hills.

The cottage accommodation is fully furnished with central heating and consists of a double/twin room with en suite and adjoining small single bedroom, 3 other twin rooms and a double with 3rd bed, a bathroom and a shower room and 2 separate WCs. There is also a small through room with 2 single beds.

The fully equipped kitchen has an AGA cooker and adjoining utility room and is next to the large dining/reception area. The upstairs sitting room has an open log fireplace and Sky TV. There is a secure gun cabinet. Outside are lovely gardens and plentiful parking.

The Stag Shed is a uniquely converted old Stag Larder, now a cosy bunkhouse with a third bed rolling out from underneath the bottom bunk, and a shower and WC.

Glenlivet House Cottage is self-catering. There is a hotel 10 minutes away in Ballindalloch. The villages of Aberlour and Dufftown are about 20 minutes away, and the highest village in The Cairngorms: Tomintoul is 10 minutes away.

The nearest town, Elgin, is a 40 minute drive with a range of supermarkets and shops, some of which deliver, restaurants, a cinema and a mainline station. There are many other good restaurants in the area.

Glenlivet House Cottage is in the Cairngorm National Park, on The Glenlivet Estate, and within easy reach of walking, climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking or fishing on the Rivers Avon or Spey, skiing at The Lecht or Aviemore. It is also in the middle of The Malt Whisky Trail, for those who enjoy whisky and visiting distilleries! The Tomintoul Spur of The Speyside Way walking trail passes right past the property, and it is in the Tomintoul and Glenlivet Cairngorms Dark Sky Park. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Large and spacious, upstairs with a lovely view. It has a log burning fireplace (there is plenty of firewood available) and a SKY TV, DVD and video.

Upstairs is an en suite bathroom with shower and WC, and a separate WC. Downstairs is a bathroom with WC and a separate WC, and separate shower room.
None specifically provided, but suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Children welcome. Cot and high chair available, as well as extra games/books to suit.
The cottage has lovely gardens surrounding it and there is a private outside seating area. The paths/trails of the Glenlivet Estate are just outside.
There is no swimming pool.
Plentiful parking.
Outside only please.
Well behaved pets welcome. There are free range poultry and cats in the grounds.


Situated above The Glenlivet Distillery adjacent to The Speyside Way.
Villages of Aberlour and Dufftown, 20 mins, Grantown on Spey, 25 mins, with small supermarkets and attractive specialist shops. Tomintoul, a 10 min drive, has local info centre, shops and eateries.
Ballindalloch Post Office and Shop. 10 mins.
The Delnashaugh Inn, Ballindalloch, 10 minutes, or the Lagmore Cafe by Ballindalloch Golf Course. Tomintoul is 10 minutes away with various eateries.

Booking Information

The Cottage: price varies with the seasons and numbers occupying the cottage. Minimum 3 night stay.
There is a £80 cleaning price on top of the basic price, and a returnable £100 damage deposit.
