Valley Yurts welcomes family groups - no parties or all adult groups.

Valley Yurts sleeps up to 24 in 4 yurts and a shepherds hut, available individually or with exclusive use of the whole site.

Valley Yurts enjoys lovely views of the Welsh countryside, with accommodations well spaced for privacy. The yurts each sleep 4/5 people and are spacious - the design of the Kyrgyz yurt means they offer more headroom so that you can move around comfortably inside and stargaze at night through the crown centrepiece. There is also a shepherds hut with a double bed and bunk beds, with a separate smaller adjacent hut for relaxing in.

There is an outdoor dining area and fire pit next to each accommodation, and also a larger communal dining area near the kitchen for those occasions when you would like to all dine together and toast marshmallows around the fire. There's a communal covered outdoor kitchen too, with seating for the whole group if the weather is not kind.

The marquee has table tennis and a selection of games, sofa and relaxing area.

Glamping should include all the benefits of camping outdoors without having to pack a car full. Cosy beds, solar lighting for extended evenings, and a wood burning stove ensure that whatever the weather you can enjoy comfort in the countryside.

Valley Yurts is situated on the border of England and Wales, close to the Offa’s Dyke Path, with lots of beautiful places to walk and explore. At the end of our lane you can enjoy a stunning walk over Hergest Ridge into the nearest town of Kington (8 km away) and reward yourself with a pub lunch. Alternatively there are many other places to visit only a short drive away, including Hay-on-Wye and the stunning Brecon Beacons for outdoor activities.

But there is no need to go anywhere; you can relax and enjoy cooking on an open fire and spending time with friends and family. If you fancy a pizza night, we have a wood fired pizza oven for hire and can offer homemade dough and toppings on request. For nature lovers, we have regular visits from red kites, sparrowhawks, owls and woodpeckers.

We also have two pygmy goats to feed and play with and chickens to collect eggs from.
