Matai Cottages are 2 luxury self catering holiday cottages located in the picturesque village of Heacham. Both the house and cottage accommodation have views across Heacham Golf Course to the sea. Our quiet location allows you to enjoy the fabulous sandy beaches, the North Norfolk countryside and the nearby seaside town of Hunstanton.

These neighbouring detached properties in Heacham, North Norfolk are available to rent all year round for short breaks (subject to a minimum stay of 3 nights) and cottage holidays. The cottage sleeps 4, and the house with indoor pool sleeps up to 12, making it ideal for large groups. Both holiday cottages are well equipped and very comfortably furnished to provide good holiday accommodation at any time of year.

Home to beautiful rolling lavender fields, and excellent nearby birdwatching and walks, Heacham is ideally located for a family holiday and an ideal base for exploring North Norfolk and providing easy access to many other coastal villages, Hunstanton and Heacham, with a variety of attractions, Blue Flag beaches, nature and bird reserves and walks along the coastal path all close by. Watersports, fishing and boat trips to the Scolt Head Island available locally. The Royal Sandringham Estate, 5 miles away, is open to the public when the Royal family are not in residence. Try Brancaster for sailing with tuition and boat hire available, or the medieval town of Kings Lynn, 14 miles. The Norfolk Broads and city of Norwich are a little further afield.

Heacham offers child friendly pubs and restaurants. Local shops are just ½ mile away, and pubs 1 mile with main supermarkets in Hunstanton.

Kitchen Details
The House kitchen is well-equipped to cater for up to 12 people with a large Range cooker. The Cottage has an attractive Aga giving a cosy welcome.
Dining Room
In the House the dining room allows for 12 and the table converts to a pool table once dinner is finished. The Cottage table seats 6.
Sitting Room
The House living area has a large TV with Freeview and is furnished with comfortable Duresta sofas. Patio doors lead into the indoor pool.
TV and Music Facilities
The House has TVs in the living room and kitchen. Plus DVD. A CD player is available in the dining room. The Cottage has a TV, DVD and CD players.
Telecom Facilities
Both properties have Payphones and WiFi.
Games Room
The dining table in the House converts to a pool table.
Heating / Open Fires
Both properties have oil fired central heating. The fireplace in the House is not operational. The Cottage has a log effect electric fire.
There are 6 bedrooms in the House including 3 doubles and 2 twins upstairs and a twin downstairs. The Cottage has a double and a twin upstairs.
Linen provided in both properties. Towels are only provided in the House.
House has a family bathroom, 2 en suite showers, 1 en suite bath with shower, 2 separate toilets. The Cottage has a bathroom and downstairs toilet.
Disabled Facilities
The ground floor of the House has wooden floors throughout and a bedroom and toilet. There are no washing facilities downstairs.
Children's Facilities
Travel cots, high chairs and stair gates are available in both properties along with a selection of toys and games.
Outdoor Facilities
The House has an enclosed garden with furniture and a patio. The Cottage has an enclosed patio area with furniture.
Swimming Pool
The House has an indoor, heated swimming pool. Approx 3ft at the shallow end and 6ft at the deep end. It is approx. 9metres x 4metres.
There is sufficient off street parking for at least 8 cars in the private driveway.
Both properties are non smoking throughout.
One well behaved pet is permitted at a charge of £20. The pet should not be left on its own in the property.

The properties are situated on the outskirts of Heacham village which is accessed from the A149. They are easy to locate next door to Heacham Manor Hotel on Hunstanton Road.

The local Coast Hopper bus stops across the road from the property.
Nearest Airport
Norwich Airport, 40 miles.
Nearest Town
Hunstanton is around 3 miles away with the larger town of Kings Lynn about 15 miles and the Cathedral City of Norwich 40 miles.
Nearest Shop
Tesco Metro approx. 1/2 mile. Main supermarkets in Hunstanton.
Nearest Pub / Eatery
The nearest restaurant and pub are approximately a mile.

Booking Information

Full week bookings run Friday to Friday. Short breaks are available all year in the Cottage and Off-peak in the House.
A deposit of 10% is required to secure the booking. Balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £150 is due 1 week before arrival. Payment by cheque or bank transfer.
