This North Yorkshire Grade 2 Listed house has been recently renovated to create a wonderful venue for friends and families to meet up for a weekend away or a special occasion.
This lovely holiday house in Hunmanby sleeping 8 retains many original Victorian features including wood beams, cast iron fireplaces and a beautiful roll top bath. More contemporary additions such as the hot tub make this a really comfortable place to stay. The private walled garden at Denmark House is a great place to sit back and relax for morning coffee or evening drinks while the kids play on the lawn. The village location offers a cafe and choice of 3 pubs within walking distance.
The kitchen comes well equipped for preparing meals, either to eat in the dining room for 8 or in the walled garden seating area. The choice of 2 sitting rooms is popular where the group is multi generational. The snug provides an alternative for the youngsters to socialise while the adults chill out in the lounge or luxury hot tub.
The 4 bedrooms continue the traditional Victorian theme with fireplaces and one 4 poster bed. They are all individually designed with attractive soft furnishings. 1 double has an en suite shower room and the large family bathroom on the first floor has a gorgeous free standing roll top bath and shower.
Currently our insurance will not cover for any EV charging via our properties domestic sockets and therefore these must be recharged at a designated EV charging point.
Hunmanby has its own Medieval Motte and Bailey ruins, apparently mentioned in The Doomsday Book. Walk from the house to visit it and sample the delights of Hunmanby Pantry for tea and cake. If sandy beaches are the order of the day, pack up buckets and spades and head to the seaside town of Filey, just a short drive from Denmark House. Sit down on a bench in the impressive Crescent Gardens and take in the view of Filey Bay while enjoying some traditional fish and chips.
