Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
The Hub, Lyme Regis, Dorset, sleeps 10-30 in 4 bedrooms.
The Hub is in a fantastic position in the centre of Lyme Regis, within walking distance to the sea and the Jurassic coastal footpath.
This 'indoor camping' accommodation has suited guides and scouting groups, Duke of Edinburgh students and primary schools who want to take advantage of the town and its history, fossilling, finding out about Mary Anning at our Museum and how a working mill operates at the Town Mill. Not forgetting water sports, all within walking distance.
This ‘hostel’ type accommodation has an expansive hall upstairs which can be used as an open sleeping space able to accommodate up to 60 which could be zoned with tents if you want to bring them, or just bring sleeping bags. Twenty camp beds are available to use. Three other rooms can be used for sleeping accommodation for group leaders or to provide separate male/female accommodation for school or visiting youth groups. One has toilet facilities and the other room has shower and toilet facilities. ‘Indoor camping’ describes this experience perfectly, but it’s just warmer, more exclusive, secure and well equipped. The building has central heating and there is air conditioning in the hall.
The kitchen has all the equipment you need to self cater for a large group, and thirty people could sit and dine together in the dining room. This room doubles up as the lounge, with a flat screen TV, and bean bags to relax on. For other entertainment, why not show a movie in the hall, or make use of the available sporting equipment to play badminton, table tennis or indoor football with soft footballs. The stage can be used for a performance and music played via the mixing desk and speakers.
Any visiting group has sole access to the building, and all personal belongings are secure while your group is exploring the area. The Hub does not have any private outdoor space, but everything is on the doorstep!
A 10% deposit will secure your booking. The balance for your stay will be due 2 weeks prior to your visit. You will be met upon arrival at The Hub and shown around the building, given safety and fire information and a key and building alarm code for the length of your stay.
