A group outing to beat them all. Walk, fish, BBQ and beer are experiences to be enjoyed at Ardintigh Bay.
For those seeking a different break, this bunkhouse, belonging to intrepid lone Atlantic rower and adventurer Tom McClean, is the answer. Situated exclusively at Ardintigh Bay on the shores of Loch Nevis in the West Highlands, the bunkhouse enjoys a spectacular position in a very unique part of Scotland. Accessible only on foot or by sea, this accommodation offers a challenge for adventurers, and total tranquility. Ideal for school and youth groups to stretch their imaginations, adult groups looking for new experiences, and for groups of friends who would like to get away from it all. Available April to September inclusive.
With exclusive use for groups of up to 24, the self-catering accommodation has all you need for a memorable experience. Jock's Lodge is the main building and focal point, with a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room upstairs, whilst on the ground floor there are 2 separate toilet/shower rooms and a drying room for wet kit. Generator or our hydro scheme harnessing the power from Ardintigh burn provide limited electricity.
We offer good, simple bunkhouse sleeping accommodation for 24 in 5 wooden huts dotted around our 10 acre woodland and grassy site, which slopes down to the beach. We have 6 twin bunk rooms and 2 bunk rooms each sleeping 6. There is a large camping area if required for groups larger than 24 persons (bring your own tents).
The bunkhouse enjoys panoramic views right across Loch Nevis - watch the sun set over the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye from the upstairs decking around Jock's Lodge, and the night sky is magnificent.
Loch Nevis Bunkhouse is an ideal base for outdoor pursuits or walking holidays - the surrounding area is a walker’s paradise, with several Munros nearby.
