Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
National Trust - Mottistone Manor Farmhouse, Isle of Wight, sleeps 7-14 in 7 bedrooms.
With the safety of our guests and staff in mind, and in line with government advice, we are extending the closure period of our holiday operations until Tuesday 30 June 2020. We will continue to review the situation on a regular basis.
Stay at this wonderful old farmhouse in Newport on the Isle of Wight, with glorious sea views and lots of space for the whole family. Owned by the National Trust, Mottistone Manor Farmhouse makes a great base for celebrations like birthday weekends and family holidays.
The large garden has a patio area with table and chairs, and also a huge lawned area and separate space for team games like football with picture-perfect sea views. Coupled with lots of indoor space, you'll all love spending time together here. From the beautifully decorated, spacious bedrooms to the brilliant sitting room, with its mix of cosy and contemporary against some period features, the house has everything you need for a relaxing group holiday. The characterful kitchen is packed with amenities so you can cook up a storm, or sit back and put your feet up while someone else does all the hard work.
The long farmhouse dining table seats 14 too, so you'll all be able to sit down to meals together, with a wood burner to make things cosy when the weather is cooler. There's a great mix of bedrooms and bathrooms too, with 3 double bedrooms (1 en suite), and 4 twin bedrooms (1 en suite) plus a further family bathroom and another 2 shower rooms so you'll all be squeaky clean.
Parking for up to 6 cars is available on the gravel just outside the farmhouse.
Outdoors, head to Compton Bay or Brook beach to relax on the sand, or try a spot of surfing or swimming. There's fossil hunting adventures to be had as well as you're on the dinosaur coastline. History buffs will enjoy a visit to Osborne House, Queen Victoria's favourite holiday retreat, or the wonderful Carisbrooke Castle where you can meet the donkeys in the well house.
