## About The Property

What a great venue for a fun weekend break or holiday with family or friends, golf or shooting groups. Offered with exclusive use of the first floor accommodation, guest dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The 13th century Tree Inn is a very popular choice for those wanting to explore Bude and the surrounding area while making the most of staying in a proper pub offering tasty food, good beer, real fires and a pool table.

The award winning seaside resort of Bude is a short drive or 25 minute walk away offering plenty of choice for indoor and outdoor activities. It has a wide selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs as well as some of the best beaches in the area. Summerleaze beach offers a unique and free sea pool cut into the rock and is a magically safe place to swim if the waves are a bit too rough for those not surfing. The fishing village of Padstow, made famous by fish chef Rick Stein, is 45 minutes away as well as the Doc Martin location in Port Isaac which has been put on the foodie map by Nathan Outlaw. A local distillery makes rums and gin from scratch. Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are less than an hour away, top spots for hiking, cycling and orienteering along with the South West Coastal Path nearby. 2 golf courses are nearby as well as a leisure centre.

The Tree Inn boasts 2 bars and a fantastic bistro, run by chef Andy Campbell. Whether you are looking for a tasty Sunday lunch or want to sample some locally sourced Cornish seafood, this restaurant, with beams from ancient shipwrecks, is a great place to sit back and enjoy a quality meal and fine wines. After dinner there are 2 bars where your group can gather or on a warmer evening sit outside in the pretty courtyard. At certain times of year Bude hosts music festivals with events including live jazz and folk bands often taking place in The Tree Inn.

Accommodation is conveniently just up a flight of stairs at the end of a jam packed day. Comfortable rooms can mostly be set up as twins or doubles. There is also a single. All have tea and coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast is available in the dining area each morning. Bathrooms are shared but plentiful.
