Large group beach property for families and friends near Hastings

Camber Sands Cottage, East Sussex, sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms.

The Warrens is tucked away up a very quite sandy street just a few yards from the beach in Camber. Formally two beach huts, the house can be divided in a couple of ways, allowing families to share the accommodation yet get out of each others hair for a minute if they need to. Alternatively it can be used as one large space.

The Garden is safe and secure, ideal for children and dogs. The accommodation is also uniquely all on one level which, works well if your group contains members with limited mobility.

There is an outside area which can be secured if you are bringing a couple of bikes with you or beach equipment, and there is parking for up to four cars outside the house.

Facilities

The large light and airy kitchen is well equipped with electric hob, oven and grill, there is a huge fridge freezer with ice machine.
The dining table is housed in the light and airy kitchen, this opens directly onto the garden, so perfect for al fresco dining and barbecues.
The cosy living space has a vaulted ceiling. Huge leather sofas and a day bed, there is also additional living space in the annex end of the house.
Both living spaces are fitted with Sky & and DVD players which we have found to be invaluable to groups. There is also a Wi-Fi connection and radio.
There is a pay phone and a Wi-Fi connection.
We don't have a games room.
The whole house runs on a main central heating system with valves on individual radiators allowing maximum flexibility.
There are five bedroom in the house, four are fitted with zip and link beds, so can be made up as either as twins or super-kings. The 5th is a double.
All beds are made up in fresh white linen for your arrival. Towels and beach towels are also provided.
The house has 3 beautiful bathrooms each fitted with WC and basin. One has a roll top bath, the remaining two are wet rooms with drencher showers.
The house is on one level with wet-rooms that provide a level route to a shower. No specific disabled facilities,suitable for limited mobility guests.
We provide travel cots, high chairs and a bed guard. Electric sockets are covered and there is a blender, microwave and bottle warmer.
Secure garden with brick barbecue and pergola. There is a small secure outside storage area. Patio table & chairs. The garden can be divided into two.
We don't have a swimming pool.
There is off road parking for up to four cars.
Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Pets are welcome to stay at The Warrens, up to 2 are included in the price. More than that can be accommodated by arrangement.

Location

The Warrens is up a bumpy sandy cul de sac, so no speeding cars or passing traffic. There is a cycle path that runs back across farm land to Rye.
The ancient market town of Rye is 3.5 miles away. Ashford or Hastings are about 1/2 an hours drive.
The village shop is about 60 yards from the house.
There are a couple of pubs and a nice hotel in camber as well as a take away fish and chip shop and cafes which tend to be more seasonal.

There is a station in Rye which is about 4 miles away, Ashford International station which offer excellent connections is about a 30 minute drive.
Buses stop at the end of Sea Road, about 30 yards form the house. There is a regular service to Rye.
There is a small airfield in Lydd about 6 miles from the house, offering a fun service to Le Touquet for Lunch. LGW is the nearest international one.
