Howgills Guest House & Apartments, Sedbergh , sleeps 40 in 12 bedrooms.

These four 2 bedroom and ground floor 4 bedroom apartments were built to modern standards in 1994 right in the heart of Sedbergh's conservation area just one road back from the Main Street.

Resembling the traditional Victorian terraces of Bainbridge Road, the accommodation venue offers four apartments each with 2 bedrooms. Four of the apartments have a bed settee enabling total sleeping of up to 40 people in what is a superb town for a weekend break for the family, celebration, or reunion. Joined ground floor apartments access directly to patio and car park. This is suitable for group meetings. Separate bookings of the venue apartments are accepted so early booking for all to get together is strictly recommended.

The house is next to the main Hotel in Town which can also be a useful venue for mid week training or break out sessions for management improvement. High standard at good value prices with excellent location being in the countryside. We pride ourselves on happy customers.

Full bed linen and towel provision is available as an extra. Electric heating by Economy 7 night storage for lounge and dining room with panel radiators for the bedrooms. Electric shower over bath and fan heater in bathroom. All services are included in the price.

Ground floor 4 bedroom apartment (Brook) has direct access from the car parking at rear of property. It is fully wheel chair accessible and a sloping path leads from the car to double doors. It has a connecting door through to the inner main hallway that is accessed via the front entrance off Bainbridge Road. From the front entrance hall, access via a set of stairs to the left for apartments 9 & 10 and to the right for apartments 11 & 12.

All of the first floor apartments have lounge, dining and kitchen accessed off the inner hallway of each apartment with stairs leading in each apartment to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom or shower rooms. All electric heating, showers etc is included in the price. Iron, Ironing board and vacuum

TV and DVD and music centre and a wonderful morning chorus usually heard in the street from local bird life. (Not guaranteed as beyond our control).

Night store radiators in lounge and panel heaters in bedrooms. South facing lounge windows get full sun radiation (We do see a lot of sun at Howgills)
Flat 11 & 12 have 1 dble & 1 twin each. Flat 9 & 10 have 4 Bunks each of 2 bedrooms. Flat 7 & 8 combined 2 x double and 2 x 4 bunk rooms
All bedrooms are provided with mattress protector and pillow & case. Bedding & Duvets and Towels are available as an added option
9, 11 & 12 have a bathroom with shower over bath. 10 has 2 shower rooms. 8 has a walk in shower rooms shared. 7 has a bathroom with shower over shared

Apartment 8 (Brook) has a disabled friendly bedroom having ground floor access from adjacent car park with walk in shower room shared with a 4 bunk rm

Nearby fells and low level rivers provide excellent walking facilities which are largely un-crowded. Local TIC has many walks available. Flat 8 patio.

Adjacent car parking - Private space per apartment with up to 3 extra for visitors to the Howgills Holiday apartments venue.
