Stonetrail Cottages are situated in a stunning private location at the foot of Wild Boar Fell, within 40 acres of private grounds in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, midway between Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen. Our properties consist of a 16th century farmhouse and 4 beautifully-converted stone barns, which form a lovely courtyard setting with uninterrupted views. Each offers a wonderful blend of luxury with stunning interiors and original features, including oak trusses, wood-burning stoves, power showers and crisp, white linen. We are an ideal choice for hen parties and large groups wanting to celebrate in style, with spacious entertaining spaces, combined with independent living areas to suit. The Farmhouse has a kitchen/ dining room measuring 35ft x 17ft opening onto a patio and garden, an ideal space for large groups.

Stonetrail is a perfect escape to the great outdoors, in a glorious, private setting on the fell side with footpaths and bridleways leading straight from our gate. We have plenty of fun filled ideas for your weekend. On site we offer mountain bike hire, private horse treks and close by you can enjoy golf, fishing, sailing and many other activities. Afternoons are perfect to hire a beautician for a pamper session, relax in the spa room, sit and enjoy the amazing sunsets - all before an evening of cocktails, dinner and music.

Catering for your party weekend is straightforward. Our properties have everything you need to cater for yourself or you could hire a chef or book a private table at a local Inn. No need to worry about transport, you can book a local mini-bus or travel in real style and hire “Daisy”, a vintage bus - have your tickets personalised to remember your special weekend with friends.
