Take the opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy our lovely farmhouse, part of which dates back to the 16th century. Beech House is great destination for family holiday’s, get togethers and all those very special celebrations. Relax in the hot tub situated in the garden.

The house is spacious and full of character with Inglenook fireplaces, beams, stripped wood and slate flagged floors. Beech House is suitable for both large and small groups and we offer special discounts for out of season weeks, short breaks and smaller groups. Watch the sheep in the paddock near the house. Pony riding is available just two miles away. A really warm welcome awaits everyone including children.

There are four bedrooms, all en-suite, all double beds are now kingsize. kitchen, lounge and dining room. French doors lead into kitchen/breakfast room with newly installed kitchen, well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and American style fridge-freezer. Also a downstairs shower and toilet.

A cosy sitting room with lovely settees and chairs has the original Inglenook fire-place with bread oven and a electric wood burner, TV, video and DVD.

The dining room has also has a lovely Inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, snooker table and chairs as well as two settees, making this a relaxing room complete with TV.

The gardens are private mainly lawned, with patio area garden furniture and BBQ. Children can enjoy the play area with swings, slide and trampoline, also the games room with skittles and table tennis.

Beech House is in Thorne Park, a 100-acres working farm, situated in a beautiful part of Devon known as Ruby Country. Its tranquillity, gentle rolling hills and stunning views make this an ideal location.

We are a short distance from Holsworthy.

Full central heating system run by a wood pellet boiler, inclusive electricity and bag of logs included.
4, all en suite: no1 kingsize bed, no 2 & 3 kingsize bed with two singles beds, no 4 two single beds. Extra folding bed available + cots.
Linen and towels are included.
4 en suite bedrooms, one en suite with bath/shower over bath, one with bathtub/shower, two with shower. Downstairs Shower and toilet.
No specific facilities for disabled guests.
Outdoors trampoline and play equipment, indoors inflatable ball pond, table tennis.

No pool, but a hot tub in the garden.

Beech House is situated at Thorne Park, a 100-acres working farm, situated in a beautiful part of Devon known as Ruby Country.
Holsworthy has weekly Street and Cattle Market on Wednesday's, also has golf course, sports hall, swimming pool, horse riding and fishing.
Holsworthy 1.5 miles Waitrose and Co-op also late shop and off licence at Bude Road Garage.
Holsworthy and several other villages nearby have country pubs for both drinks and food.

Booking Information

Summer holiday weeks, £2350. Other school holidays £995 - £1990. Short breaks welcome, Friday Changeovers, but we are flexible out of season, please ask we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We will require a deposit of 25% when booking the balance will be due a month before your stay.
