Blo Norton Hall is a stunning moated house dating back to the 16th Century, it is the perfect choice for a relaxed stay in the East Anglian countryside. The house is furnished throughout with antique furniture. Family portraits and other pictures line the grand oak staircase and reception rooms.

The entrance hall leads into the main hall where access to the drawing room can be found. This room has a large open fire place and is next to the TV sitting room enjoying beautiful views of the gardens, a single room is available off of this.

A twin bedroom and small single bedroom are available on the ground floor ideal for the not so able or elderly, with 2 WCs at either end of the house, no bathroom on the ground floor. The large charismatic open plan kitchen / breakfast room is on the east of the entrance hall with direct access into the gardens.

The first floor corridor leads to 6 luxurious bedrooms with 6 bathrooms/shower rooms (5 en suite). The second floor provides outstanding views of the gardens and offers a games room and a further king size bedroom with en suite.

A further 2 beautifully renovated barns, Virginia sleeping 8 and Duleep Singh sleeping 6, can be combined for bigger parties up to 35 guests, details on our website.

Blo Norton is situated close to the picturesque Norfolk and Suffolk borders making it ideal to explore all that both counties have to offer. Blo Norton lies on the River Little Ouse which separates Suffolk from Norfolk. The Hall reputedly provided the setting for Virginia Wolf’s short story "The Journal of Miss Joan Martyn". In the story the main character, Rosamund Merridew, is a historian researching England's land-tenure system.
