Ideal for larger parties, Durham House is a spacious, comfortable former village inn, previously known as the The Nags Head. The pub has been restored to provide excellent accommodation for families and friends to enjoy and includes a large outdoor recreational area.
Serve a pint on site at your very own Nag's Head bar complete with pool table! We can provide kegs of lager, real ale and cider at an additional cost. A truly unique experience.
The Croft provides perfect accommodation for those with mobility issues, whilst the Hay Loft provides a space for those who prefer a little peace and quiet.
The ground floor of Durham House consists of a large dining area with window seating. Seating for everyone ensures there is ample opportunity to spend quality time together, whilst enjoying meals or playing games.
Adults can relax in the sitting room where folding-doors lead out to an enclosed seating area complete with BBQ, comfortable seating and picnic tables. The kitchen is fully equipped with all expected mod-cons and is of adequate size to cater for larger groups. The 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers ensure that cooking is simple and easy.
The Hay Loft is totally self-contained with its own kitchen and shower-room.
The Croft is perfect for those with mobility issues, but is still right next to the main house. There is sufficient wheelchair access to the dining table, convenient parking outside the cottage, wheel-under kitchen benches, widened doors and hallways. Sufficient wheelchair access around the bedroom, wheelchair-accessible shower room with a turning space and room for carer/carers. Also grab rails, easy access to wash a basin, and the shower controls can be reached whilst seated.
