A trip to this fantastic resort is all about the fun. Jam packed with land and water based activities and 55 acres of lakes and forests, there’s something to appeal to groups of all ages. Universities, colleges, schools and other youth groups will have no problem persuading youngsters to visit Ireland’s biggest kept secret for some adrenaline fuelled activities and full on entertainment. And it is just 10 minutes from Belfast.
Let’s Go Hydro is a great youth group venue near Belfast, with a wealth of opportunities to get the best out of young visitors. A million pounds has been spent on the newest design 5 corner full cable water sports system. The Olympic sized beach is a great place to try out some volleyball or beach rugby. Or opt for some wakeboarding, paddleboarding or open water swimming in the resort lagoon. All of the giant inflatables in the Aqua Park are suitable for kids over 7 as long as they are safe in the water. The choice is endless.
Glamping accommodation is in pods, either the Open Meadow Pods or Hedge Village Pods. These comfy units sleep up to 4 in single beds and have shared bathroom facilities nearby. Phone charging is not an issue: each pod has sockets and USB points to help young people feel at home. The free superfast WiFi means that accessing Netflix and favourite streaming services is really easy too.
The 2 communal kitchens are ideal for getting the kids to prepare some food and enjoying the sociability of eating together. Or hire one of the barbecue pods on the waterfront – food included. Alternatively Let’s Go Hydro is not short on places to eat out. The Sea Container Café offers options for breakfast, lunch or ice cream. The Bunk House Bistro is a licensed restaurant with great views.

We have disability parking access and pods which are available for customers with mobility requirements.

Pets

Pets are allowed on the site, although not allowed to stay in glamping pods.

Kitchen

Kitchen is shared in the communal area and includes access to a cooker, microwave oven, kettle, cleaning facilities and fridge.

Dining Room

Visitors can dine in the communal area, in barbecue pods on site (extra charge) or in the cafés.

Sitting Room

Sitting room has TV, WiFi, board games, and communal seating.

TV and Music Facilities

Television is available in the communal area with freeview.

Games Room

There is no games room.

Heating and Open Fires

Open fires can be provided on-site for burning only logs available on-site. Please do not light fires elsewhere on the property.

Bedrooms

Each glamping pod comfortably sleeps 4 people on 4 individual single beds.

Linen

Bed linen is available at an extra cost of £10 per person.

Bathrooms

Outdoor communal bathrooms are available within 30-100 metres of glamping pods depending on location. Bathrooms also in the cafe and communal area.

We do not have cots available.

Communal barbecue and picnic areas, fire pits, picnic tables. Set within the grounds of Knockbracken Reservoir.

Swimming Pool

We hold open water swimming sessions 3 times a week on the reservoir.

Parking

Parking is plentiful and free. We can accommodate all vehicles in our 3 private car parks.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in glamping pods.

Let’s Go Hydro is 20 minutes drive from Belfast City Centre and is easily accessible by public transport.

The nearest bus is opposite Let's Go Hydro.
Belfast.
Belfast City Centre is 20 minutes away by car.
Several nearby shops, pharmacies and off-sales on the Knockbracken Road, less than 5 minutes drive.
We have 2 cafés on-site and a number of takeaway and sit in restaurants near to Let's Go Hydro.
Belfast City Airport is around 30 minutes drive.
