Medieval Hall Apartment - sleeps 8 - 3 bedrooms, standard double, kingsize double or twin single, family room with standard double and twin singles.

This comfortable and quirky holiday apartment is in Stroud town centre, a great idea if you want to enjoy good times out together - it's just a stroll to a great selection of local cafes, restaurants and pubs. Stroud is also home to an extraordinary number of artists and craftsmen - sample the atmosphere and the wares at the Farmers market on Saturday morning, reputedly the best in the UK.

The local canals and footpaths offer opportunities for interesting and scenic walks suitable for all ages and abilities - ideal for multi generation family gatherings, and friends who just want to catch up and relax.

Canine companions are welcome for a small fee - outstanding countryside to explore.

Rodborough and Minchinhampton Commons are recognised Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you can experience the views on a half day walk from the apartment - home to free ranging cattle and ponies during the summer months, and the occasional donkey. Plan for lunch at one of the country hotels or pubs, and perhaps an ice cream at Winstones Ice Cream Factory.

Stroud is central for trips out to Cirencester, Cheltenham, Oxford, Bristol, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds villages - whatever the weather, the local area has much to offer for every generation.

Central heating, with individual radiator thermostats.
3 bedrooms, sleeps 8 in 6 individual beds - see floorplan.
100% cotton white linen (professionally laundered, with mattress protection) and white towels.
Medieval Hall Apartment has a shower room and en suite bathroom with shower over.
There are no specific facilities for disabled guests.
Travel cots, high chairs, door gates (not suitable for stairs) on request, subject to availability. Stratford Park and Leisure Centre is a short walk.
No private outdoor facilities.
There is no swimming pool, but Stroud has public leisure facilities, including both an indoor swimming pool and traditional open air swimming lido.
Medieval Hall does not allocated parking, but there is public parking just 50 yards (approximately £3 to £4/day).
No smoking permitted inside the apartment or communal areas. You are of course welcome to smoke outside.
Well behaved dogs permitted (not in the bedrooms please). £30 for each canine companion.

Location

At the top of the High Street in the town centre. Please expect the weekend noise of a bustling small town and bring earplugs if needed! Set in the South Cotswolds.
Stroud town centre.
There is a choice of supermarkets including Waitrose and Tesco within walking distance.
There are many pubs, restaurants and cafes to choose from in the town centre.
